Jennifer Commey

For me, midwifery is about more than caring for someone during pregnancy and birth—it is about walking alongside families through a significant chapter of their lives.

I’m Jennifer Commey, a Registered Midwife originally from Ghana, with over 10 years of experience caring for families through pregnancy, birth, postpartum, and newborn care.

After moving to Canada, I completed the Internationally Educated Midwifery Bridging Program at the University of British Columbia and continued my journey into Canadian midwifery practice.

I believe every family deserves to feel heard, respected, and supported. I value building trusting relationships with my clients and providing compassionate, culturally respectful, and evidence-informed care.

Outside of midwifery, I enjoy spending time with my family, exploring new places, and connecting with friends.
